On Sunday, June 3, a Dana Air plane flying from Abuja to Lagos crashed. All 153 passengers on board were killed. My good friend, Adekunbi Irene Adebiyi was one of them.
She was 22 years old and one of the silliest and most beautiful people I knew.
There aren’t enough words to describe how I feel. The sadness, the anger.
I’m slowly realising that I need to let it go. I need to smile when I remember the good times because there were so many of those.
Some people are on loan to us. Angels on earth. And it was her time to go back home.
